Keynote Speaker - Susan Gauthier

Susan Gauthier, Library Media Specialist, works with teachers and students at Sherwood Middle Academic Magnet School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She previously worked as an Educational Technology Consultant developing and supporting several professional development programs (Regional TLTCs, LILI, EIT, ProEx, LaTEL, Essentials) at the Louisiana Department of Education. Susan has nineteen years in education, including ten years in Louisiana classrooms and nine years of coordinating educational technology programs for the Department of Education.
Susan currently serves as an Intel Senior Trainer for Leadership Forum, Thinking with Technology, Essentials Online and Essentials 10. Susan is a Google Certified Teacher. She attended the institute in Mountain View, CA in 2008. Susan is also a STAR Discovery Educator. She is a proud member of the Leadership Council of the Louisiana Discovery Educator Network. She has presented hands-on and concurrent sessions at regional, state, and national conferences in the areas of information literacy, visual thinking, numeracy and technology.
